As the EVP of People and Culture here at August Jackson, it’s my goal—both internally at AJ and externally in partnership with our clients—to nurture work cultures that help get things done while bringing fulfillment, connection, and community to everyone involved.
Whether it’s a small team operating together out of one office, a large workforce spread across the globe, or some combination of the two, my team and I know a strong company culture means putting people first.
While the ups and downs of the COVID-19 pandemic have often made it hard to figure out how to put people first, the unknowns have also reinforced and crystalized a simple fact: organizational culture has never been dependent upon the physical spaces we work in, and the necessity of a people-centered approach to workplace culture has never been clearer.
